About

Founded by Cobe Williams and Josh Gryniewicz, Transform Justice is a non-profit organization striving to promote public safety and violence prevention. Through education, training, events, communication and education materials, Transform Justice aims to encourage youths and adults alike to advance our mission of changing the thought process surrounding the justice system in the United States and utilize our work in order to provide a safer world for the generations to come.

Transform Justice is dedicated to disrupting the “school-to-prison pipeline,” where many, predominately Black and brown youth, go directly out of public schooling into prisons. Through advocacy and programming opportunities, Transform Justice combats poor economic conditions and inadequate educational institutions.

Help the Transform Justice Mission

Violence is a public health issue and must be treated as such. While it affects all individuals worldwide, it is important to note that it can be stopped through furthering education and opportunities, starting with our youth. Through incentivized programs, in addition to One City, our involvement with Chicago’s South and West Sides communities will help the youth prosper, further understand the importance of violence prevention, and become engaged in fostering peaceful communities for future generations.
